The Ustaad Charnjit Singh Memorial Trophy stands as a testament to the values of the Damdama Gatka Championship and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji Gatka Akhara, as we attempt to honour the teachings passed down to us by our teacher.

Each year, the Champions of the Singhs and Kaurs Divisions of DGC see their name added to the base of the competition's flagship award.

Designed in California by Bennett Awards, specifically for the Damdama Gatka Championship, the Ustaad Charnjit Singh Memorial Trophy pays tribute to the life and legacy of the late great Ustaad Bhai Charnjit Singh Ji, with respectful allusions to traditions of knowledge sharing.
